Christmas Gifts :D

  • Dec. 30th, 2008 at 2:40 PM

I didn't really get that much for Christmas this year (good thing, I didn't want my parents t waste some in an economy this bad) but I did get the three things I did ask for.

  • Batman: The Dark Knigth on DVD. This was second on my list of what I wanted.
  • Jurassic Park: Adventure Pack. This "Adventure Pack" came with all three movies of Jurassic Park.
  • And, lastly, I got three tickets to Sweeney Todd! This was first on my list, but it was the least realistic one. I had told my parents that I would give the two gifts before in a heartbeat to get these tickets. But they got me all of them :'). I was so touched when I unwrapped the receiptmof the three purchased tickets from online, that I stayed there with my mom and dad, hugging them and crying for about an hour.

Mostly, I'm just putting this so that, well, I can remember it, of course (I don't really think I could forget this experience easily), but also to show that it is the thought that counts. To me, you could've given me a pair of socks and, if I knew you put thought into the gift, would've still been happy.

I know I'm posting this way after Christmas (birth of our Saviour), I still wanted to post this.

I know I'm late but...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Putting the laws of time and plausiblity aside, picture a battle between the megalodon (a prehistoric shark with a six-foot jaw span) and a giant squid (reported to be the size of a school bus). Who would win?

The megalodon, probably. A lot of people are saying that the ginat squid will have the advantage becasue they are either smart or have the tentacles, but, show of hands, how many people here have gotten rubbed the wrong way( not perverted-wise -.-) by a shark? Well, I have, and, let me tell you, their skin is like thousands and thousands of knives slashing you in ten seconds at about 20 mph. Plus, what makes you think that sharks are stupid? Actually, they are very intelligent animals and, I believe, one of the most intelligent. Though, lack of being able to test these creatures thanks to their ferocity is what leaves us pondering =3.

So, sure, if the squid did manage to wrap its tentacles around the megalodon, it would die from lack of water supply passing through its gills (I just want to clarify to people that a shark does not intake water through its mouth -.-.) And, that, too, is highly improbable because...well...go look at a fossil of a megalodon and tell me if it's bigger than a school-bus or not ;3.

Some people find Eeyore’s gloomy outlook charming. Others prefer the bouncy enthusiasm of Tigger. Who would you rather be trapped in an elevator with: Eeyore or Tigger?

Believe it or not, I think I'd rather be stuck with Tigger :). And it's not cause I have stuffed animals of him...Seriously, Tigger, being an optimist, as am I, would make the time fly by. Sure, he'd get a little annoying after a while, but not as much as Eeyore. Maybe it's just me, but I find pesimists really annoying -.-...

High School Anyone?

  • Nov. 12th, 2008 at 8:59 PM

Does anyone who is or was a resident in the state of Florida know any good high schools? Preferably in the southwest region, please?

I'm going to graduate (or so they say -.-) from 8th grade this year, and I'v already gotten tons of brochures from high schools and their open houses.

....

Is it just me, or do they seem a tad desperate O.o?

One school has an amazing art program for theatre and visual and media, but this other school my older sister went to and...erm...someone close is at that school...But, the school with the program is farther away, so there's that problem. And with the second choice, there's been tons, I mean, tons, of gangs, threats...there was even a bomb evacuation last year T.T! And this year a kid brought a knife, which, granted, isn't as bad as the bomb, but still!

*Exasperated sigh* I don't know, anymore -.-.

I guess, I really want to do the theatre program, but, really, what are the chances of them doing Sweeney Todd, and me being casted as Mrs. Lovett? I'll tell you, none. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada (Yes, I know Spanish, it's all we talk at home.)

My friend Brittany (http://www.youtube.com/user/elwingprincess)! Now, she would be cast as Mrs. Lovett hands down!

....

Think you can teach me how to sing, Britt ^^'...? Seriously, I'm close to tone-deaf -.-...that's why I stick to writing T.T *sniff* *sniff*!

....

I still haven't finished my homework T.T!

Homework xP

I have just made an amazing discovery...

Homework. Sucks. Ass.

I hate it. Especially science homework >.<.

I mean, really! What does making a stupid drawing have to do anything with science? Sure, I probably will remember, now, that gold is an element, but what good'll that do, unless I'm practicing alchemy!?

And, no, I don't mean the "clap-your-hands-and-anything-that-has-the-equal-exchange-of-what-you-slammed-your-hands-on-will-pop-up-in-front-of-your-very-eyes-in-a-show-of-lights," alchemy, I mean the old, boring "turning-gold-from-lead" alchemy. Now, isn't that just ex-fucking-citing?

Wait, how'd I get on the alchemy subject?

...

Oh, yeah! The "gold is an element" thing.

But, seriously, what good'll that do? I mean, even if I did get into alchemy, it was abandoned hundreds of years ago as a "false science."

But, seriously, if now a-days, people can clone sheep, what says you can't make good ol' gold from lead?

Two More Months...

  • Nov. 5th, 2008 at 6:18 PM

My Mom and I both found out today that one of her childhood friends, Cornelia*, was diagnosed with terminal cancer in the pancreas.

*Sigh* We (or at least, I) don't know all the details. What we do know, is that she only has two months to live, and my Mother hasn't seen her since last year. And when my Mom was there, and she was at a restaraunt with Cornelia and some other friends, Cornelia even confessed to not having taken a Pap smear in years, admitting that she's terrified of doctors. Now, this is in Ecuador, and the doctors there are not that great, but, still, when you can find out if there's something wrong with you and may be able to prevent it, why not jump at it?

So, she took a Pap smear (I can only suppose recently,) and the doctors told her she had terminal cancer in the pancreas, and that she only has two more months to live.

*Sigh* I...I don't really know what's going to happen...I mean, I've never met nor talked to her, so I feel bad when I get depressed about this...but I can't seem to help it! I mean, it's as though, when I grew up, got married, and had children, my best friend, Katy*, would die in two months! She was my best friend for six years, now, and my Mom and Cornelia have been friends since their childhood, and they're about 45. They'v been friends for almost 40 years...and now, in two months, she's going to die...*Sigh* I guess, more than anything, I feel so sad for my Mom. I didn't even see her cry yet, which, she will, just when I'm probably asleep. *Sigh*

Anyone who's reading this, please pray for my Mom and her friend, we have so many things happening, and know we got this thrown on our shoulders.

*Sigh* The Lord knows this is happening for a reason. It's apparently Cornelia's time to go to Him, and reunite with her Heavenly Father...

* Names have been changed.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street >:D!!! w00t! Or Aliens vs. Predator =3

Random Posting =3

  • Oct. 23rd, 2008 at 10:53 PM

Well, this is my first time on LiveJournal, so, I don't really know what to write about ^_^'...I guess I'll just say what's on my mind, or something O.o...

Well, let's see...umm...

I think people have a problem with Alien vs. Predator or something, because no one will review my story T.T! Then again, maybe it's because I placed it in the InuYasha category...? But, it's a crossover >.<! *Sigh* Oh, well -_-... If anyone's interested, they can find the story at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4601550/1/With_You, but I doubt anyone will want to read it, but, again, oh, well -_-...

Umm, I have a website at Photobucket with pictures that I have made, if anyone finds that interesting ^_^'...You can find that at http://s277.photobucket.com/albums/kk49/EspeonAngel/ or just photobucket.com/EspeonAngel, if anyone's interested =3.

Just because I'm such a caring person, my username is the same in everyone of those websites ^_^! Haha, yeah, no. It's because I'm too lazy to try and remember three different usernames at once =3.

So, I guess that's it...?

Oh! If you do happen to read my story(ies), and you do happen to like them, please, please, please, leave a review! It only takes a couple of seconds, and it makes the authoress (moi) really happy. So, please, have a heart? *Teary puppy dog eyes* Please?

P.S.: I keep a "journal" there, too, but, unlike this one, that one only has things to do with fanfiction, okay =3? Thank you!
